Need to know how to avoid the situation that ML Activation is missing for some materials.

'X' is missing for the fields "Value Update" and "Quantity Update" for the combination Material Type and Valuation Area. 

Be advised of the following steps, which need to be executed in the specified order to ensure smooth operations:
1. Create Material Type: It is crucial that you begin by creating the material type. This step must be completed first.
2. Update Values and Quantities: Once the material type is created, please ensure that it is set as values and quantities updated.
3. Upload Materials: After the above steps are successfully completed, you can proceed with uploading materials to the system. 

If ML Activation is already not enabled for some materials, raise a support case to request correction according to KBA 3141875 - Material Ledger Data Inconsistency Fixed - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
