3786375 - Unable to select other legal entity during rehire with old employment - Employee Central

During the rehire with old employment process, the legal entity dropdown displays only the user's previous company or restricted list of legal entities.

1. Go to Rehire Inactive Employee.
2. Search for the user.
3. Choose Rehire with Old Employment.
4. Open the Legal Entity (Company) dropdown.
5. Observe that only the previous company is shown; other legal entities are not available.

Incorrect field criteria configuration in Manage Business Configuration: the company (legal entity) field is configured to depend on other fields (i.e. legal entity), which restricts legal entity selection during rehire. Legal entity is the parent object in Job Information and should not be filtered by lower-level objects like division.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration.
2. Open the Job Information (jobInfo) element and select the company (legal entity) field.
3. Review the Field Criteria configured for the company field.
4. Remove any Field Criteria that filters company based on division (or other lower-level objects).
5. Save the changes.
