Symptom
- BAdI LE_SHP_ATP_CHECK is not called while creating outbound delivery.
- No specific error message or error code is provided.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the app 'Create Outbound Delivery – With reference'.
- Enter a sales order reference and choose Continue.
- Display the error log and review the Custom Logic Trace during delivery processing.
- Observe that no message is relevant to BAdI LE_SHP_ATP_CHECK and no trace found for the BAdI.
Cause
- According to the BAdI documentation, LE_SHP_ATP_CHECK applies only to sales document items with special stock type E (Sales Order Stock) and can only disable the availability check in these cases.
- Sales document items with other stock types will not trigger BAdI LE_SHP_ATP_CHECK.
Resolution
- Confirm in SSCUI '102974 - Define Delivery Item Categories' that the delivery item category requires ATP check.
- Verify the sales order item’s special stock indicator is set. The indicator can be set via assigned requirement type whose requirement class has special stock type E set. Requirement type including:KEK, KEL, BB6, CB4, MSR, S40, S45, S60.
