3786464 - Sales document is In Approval status without the workflow reaching approvers

Symptom

  • Sales orders are sent for approval but no items appear in the My Inbox app for approvers.
  • Orders remain with approval status "In Approval", approval reason is also determined.
  • Orders cannot be opened in change mode to edit or reject. The following message may appear when attempting changes: "V2468 - Sales Document Approval Prevents Changes in VA02".
  • No corresponding workflow work item is found in SWI1 for the affected orders.
