Symptom

oninit rule setting field visibility to none is not working in Add New Employee.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure an onInit business rule intended to set specific fields’ visibility to None in the Add New Employee wizard.
  2. Start the Add New Employee process and provide values that should satisfy the rule conditions.
  3. Observe that the target fields remain visible.

Cause

Improper rule configuration.

Resolution

It is necessary to set Address Type and Country as well in the Set part. A sample rule is as follow:
