Symptom
- Why the workflow status is shown as Draft.
- How to process such workflows as there is no such status in the admin tool "Manage Workflow Requests".

Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Latest People Profile
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to the instance.
- Trigger any workflow up to the point where you see the pop-up for workflow. (Do not click "submit" or "cancel" at this point).
- Navigate to Data Inspector-->Table_WF_REQUEST-->provide the Workflow Request Id. (Workflow Request Id can be fetched from table Table_EMP_WF_REQUEST).
- Observe the status of the workflow.
Resolution
- "Draft" is a temporary workflow status that is introduced with Latest People Profile.
- When any workflow is triggered and the Pop-up appears for the workflow, at this point of time the workflow status is "Draft".
Now, if "Submit" button is clicked then workflow status changes to "Pending" ,
and if "Cancel" button is clicked then workflow status changes to "Deleted". - However, if in some cases the "Draft" status still exists then system automatically runs a JOB to clean the "Draft" workflows for those which have been created 2 days or before.
- Users need not to worry about handling/processing Draft status workflows because the system handles it on its own.
