3786530 - Pay Component Recurring Import Multiplies Value when Locale is set to Portuguese

• When completing a pay component recurring import with amount or number fields omitted, they become multiplied by ten instead of inheriting the previous record’s value.
• Rule trace shows the new value being evaluated, but no business rule is setting or calculating this value.
• Including amount/number field in the import file with the intended value results in a correct outcome. 
• The issue happens when the user's language and/or file locale is set to Portuguese; it does not occur using English.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Set the user language ot the file locale to Portuguese.
2. Prepare a Pay Component Recurring import file omitting Number column.
3. Import the file.
4. Observe that the created/updated record has the value multiplied by 10 (for example: 90 becomes 900):
5. If you repeat with English language and file locale, the issue does not occur. If you include the Number column with the intended value, the import is also correct.

• As a workaround, make sure the field with a value is included in the import file or set the file locale to English.
