3786716 - Product search results sort alphabetically instead of showing exact match first

• Product search does not prioritize the exact match; the best-matching product is not shown first.
• Results appear in alphabetical order within the selection list (dropdown).
• Entering an exact product identifier or part number may show the matching product last.

SAP CPQ

1. In any Quote, go to the 'Add item' search filter.
2. Enter an exact product identifier or part number in the search field.
3. Observe that results are sorted alphabetically by product name; the exact match is not listed first and may appear last.

The current design displays search results in alphabetical order based on product names that contain similar part numbers; exact matches are not prioritized.

1. An improvement to prioritize the exact match is planned and will be delivered in an upcoming release; monitor product release communications for availability.
2. There is no workaround at this time.
