3786723 - Condition type from TM freight order is transferred to SD invoice but its value is wrong

Despite all related configuration in place (see section 'See Also'), and despite the fact that there are positive, working examples, where it works as expected, there are cases when the freight cost from TM is wrongly transferred to SD invoice. In other words, although the condition type is present in the billing document, but with such a value that is different than the value in TM.
