3786820 - eDocument Spain: /EDOES Namespace Not Available in Configure Value Mapping App

Symptom

When configuring Spain FACe (B2G) electronic invoicing, the /EDOES namespace is not available in the Namespace field value help of the Configure Value Mapping app. Scope item 5XU has been activated. No error message is displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Log on to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition with a business user that has access to the Configure Value Mapping app.
Open the Configure Value Mapping app.
Open the value help for the Namespace field.
Observe that /EDOES does not appear in the list of available namespaces.

Cause

The /EDOES namespace is part of the Spain FACe (B2G — Business to Government) electronic invoicing solution. It becomes available in the Configure Value Mapping app only after the Communication Arrangement for scenario SAP_COM_0419 (Document and Reporting Compliance: Spain — Electronic Invoicing of Public Entities via SAP Integration Suite) has been created. If this Communication Arrangement does not exist, the /EDOES namespace will not appear in the value help.

Resolution

Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

Open the Communication Arrangements app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
Create a new Communication Arrangement for scenario SAP_COM_0419 by the official setup guide: Documents | SAP Document and Reporting Compliance: Electronic Invoicing of Public Entities for Spain | SAP Business Accelerator Hub
Complete all required fields in the Communication Arrangement and save.
Return to the Configure Value Mapping app and open the value help for the Namespace field.
Verify that /EDOES is now listed and available for selection.
