3786867 - Course affiliation shows active for inactive course and duplicate affiliations in icontent management tool

• The “Course Affiliation” status is displayed incorrectly for an iContent object.
• In Production, a course is shown as active in the Course Affiliation column even though the course itself is inactive (the iContent object is active).
• The number of course affiliations is higher in Preview, where affiliations appear duplicated compared to Production and Stage.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Open Learning Administration in Production and Stage.
2. Open System Administration.
3. Navigate to System Administration Tools.
4. Open iContent Administration.
5. Search for the relevant file name associated with the content.
6. Click the file name to view details about related courses (Course Affiliation).
7. Check the content object status via Content > Content Object and search for the relevant object.
8. Verify the course status via Learning Activities > Items, search for the item title, open the item, and review the Online Content tab.

The root cause was identified and fixed by the Engineering team.

The fix is now scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026, with the following planned milestones:

• Preview Release: October 12, 2026
• Production Release: November 13–14, 2026
