Symptom
- Inactive employees may have in-progress Performance Management forms that should automatically move to the Completed folder.
- The system provides an auto-delete option for in-progress forms, but the need is to auto-complete forms instead to avoid manual admin actions.
Environment
- Product: SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals
- Admin Center
- RBP
- Permissions and Settings
Reproducing the Issue
- Set a user to inactive (employee leaves the organization).
- Ensure the user has in-progress Performance Management forms.
- Observe that the forms remain in-progress and do not automatically move to the Completed folder.
Resolution
- In Form Template Settings for each relevant Performance Management form template, enable the option: “Auto-complete inactive users' Performance Management forms if the job is scheduled.”
- In Scheduled Job Manager, create and schedule a job of type: “Auto-Complete Inactive Users' Performance Management Forms for Configured Templates.”
- If using Employee Central and auto-remove of inactive users’ in-progress forms is configured, review and adjust that configuration to avoid conflicts. Otherwise, forms may be removed while still in-progress or auto-completed and then removed.
