Symptom

When attempting to modify families or roles in Manage Job Profile Content, receive an error:

Reproducing the Issue

Log into SuccessFactors
In the global search, type Manage Job Profile Content
Select the Families or Roles tab
Select a family or role > Save Family/ Save Role
Receive error

Cause

A workflow is in progress for the job profile.

Resolution

Changes for job profiles and content may be locked if workflows are still in process. You can review the pending workflows by navigating to one of the following locations:

The In-workflow Job Profile tab by following the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Approving Job Profile Workflow Requests
Manage Workflow Requests by following Implementing and Managing Workflows - Managing Workflow Requests as Admin
Invalid Approvers in Employee-Related Workflows and/or Invalid Approvers in Non-Employee-Related Workflows by following Implementing and Managing Workflows - Responding to Stalled Workflows in Admin Alerts
