3786914 - Incorrect Placeholders for Document generation for Serbia - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Symptom

  • In document generation templates for Serbia, the START_DATE and END_DATE placeholders resolve month names in Serbian Cyrillic instead of Serbian Latin.
  • The issue happens even with only Serbian Latin enabled in the instance.
  • The issue appears in auto-generated workflow emails after final approval of leave requests.
    • Examples: “јун” instead of “jun”, “јул” instead of “jul”.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Ensure a user with locale set to Srpski (Serbian) (sr_RS) requests Time Off.
  2. Submit the leave request.
  3. Approve the request.
  4. Review the auto-generated email sent to the requesting user and observe the month names rendered by the START_DATE and END_DATE tokens.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution
