3786969 - EAN/GTIN number in MDG Material Governance shows leading zeroes or sometime leave the first digit

Symptom

While we are trying to update GTIN 14 digit in MDG, it is leaving the first digit and taking only 13 digits and sometime it shows additional leading zeroes in EAN number.
