3787055 - Cost Split Does Not Occur After Running Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Center in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

After running the Actual Cost Rate Calculation App, the activity type price is not split and all activity prices are the same.
When checking the Splitting Result, the amount for every activity type is the same.

1. Run the Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Centers app.
2. Check the result in Splitting Result.

The system defaults to a fallback mechanism, as seen in the Splitting Results tab, with the message:
"Fallback: Split equally due to missing splitting assignment."

This fallback results in equal rates across all activity types. The likely triggers for this fallback are:

• Unassigned cost elements within the splitting structure.
• Missing splitting assignments for Activity Types.

The following steps should be taken:

• All cost elements posted to the affected cost centers should be reviewed and correctly assigned within Splitting Structure YA in configuration activity 104795 - Define Splitting Structure. Warning messages in the Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Centers app provide information on any G/L accounts missing from the structure.
• Assignments for Activity Types should be added, connected to the appropriate splitting rule with the correct activity type in the selection criteria.
• After these corrections are made, the Actual Cost Rate Calculation should be re-run for the affected period to apply the updated splitting rules.
