3787088 - Onboarding nudge email subject shows mixed english and arabic instead of recipient language

Symptom

The onboarding nudge email subject displays a combination of English and Arabic text instead of being fully localized to the recipient's language.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure the nudge email template.
  2. Assign the recipient's language as Arabic.
  3. Initiate the nudge email.
  4. Navigate to Admin Center → Email Services → Email Status.
  5. Observe that the email subject contains mixed English and Arabic text.

Cause

This is expected behavior.

The onboarding nudge email subject is determined by the company locale and the way the email template handles language localization. It is not always rendered entirely in the recipient's display language. As a result, when the recipient's language differs from the company locale or the template language, the subject line may contain a mixture of languages.

Resolution

This is a known product behavior for Onboarding nudge email subjects when the recipient's language differs from the company locale or the email template language.

Currently, there is no standard configuration to force the nudge email subject to be fully localized to the recipient's language in this scenario.
