Symptom

Some fields in onboarding custom task not visible to assigned users.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy as Onboarding/ Offboarding responsible users and open the Onboarding/ Offboarding custom task.
  2. Noticed that some fields displayed but some fields are not displayed.

Cause

Field-level overrides set to no access for the fields under Miscellaneous Permissions > custom object.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Manage Permission Roles and open the impacted permission role.
  2. Go to Miscellaneous Permissions > the custom object.
  3. Expand Field-Level Overrides.
  4. For the affected fields, remove the no access setting and save the role.
