Symptom
After creating a custom schema and schema determination, only standard condition types are available in the Purchase Order (PO) item conditions.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a custom schema.
- Create determination for the new schema.
- Create a Purchase Order (PO).
- Open item conditions and attempt to enter the custom condition record; only standard condition types appear.
Cause
The Schema Group assigned to the Business Partner is incorrect. Due to the incorrect schema group assignment, the system determines the standard calculation schema instead of the custom calculation schema. As a result, the custom purchasing condition type is not included in the Purchase Order conditions.
Resolution
- Verify the Schema Group assigned to the Business Partner.
- Ensure that the Business Partner is assigned to the Schema Group linked to the custom calculation schema.
- Save the changes.
- Create a new Purchase Order and verify that the system determines the correct calculation schema.
- Confirm that the custom purchasing condition type is displayed in the Purchase Order item conditions.
