3787391 - Cannot update plant on purchasing info records - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Unable to update the plant on purchasing info records uploaded.
• No option available to update the plant in the Purchasing Organization 2 view.

1. Open Change Purchasing Info Record.
2. In the header selection, use the dropdown for user and enter a material to display the info record without selecting a plant.
3. Navigate to the Purchasing Organization 2 view.
4. Observe that there is no option to update the plant.

• The purchasing info record key consists of vendor (LIFNR), material (MATNR), purchasing organization (EKORG), and plant (WERKS).
• Plant (WERKS) is a key field stored with other data becomes read-only after creation.
• Key fields cannot be changed; only non-key fields (such as prices, delivery times, tolerances) can be updated (for example via ME12).

1. Create a new purchasing info record with the required plant using ME11 (use the same vendor, material, and purchasing organization, but specify the new plant).
2. If the old plant-specific record is no longer needed, remove it from use:
3. Set the Deletion Indicator in ME12, or
4. End its validity by adjusting the validity dates in ME12.
