3787417 - SAC : " Could not open Query Transient hierarchy " error when jumping to Data Analyzer from Story

• When running a story which has a SAC hierarchy with a BW live Connection, its leads to an abort error when jumping from story to Data Analyzer:
  Could not open Query
  Transient hierarchy 738269179248271125689229511266 is not available anymore 
• The same model BW query works in story and in a NEW insight created, but does not work when opening it from story to Data Analyzer.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.8.14 (Client) 2026.8.10 (Server)

Custom group hierarchies are a Story-specific feature that lets you organize BW live data members into your own groupings directly within the story.
When having a custom group hierarchy for the dimension (visible in the error as a transient hierarchy ID) in a story, Custom group hierarchies are not supported yet in Data Analyzer, so the jump to Data Analyzer will fail whenever a custom hierarchy is active on a dimension.
Workaround: Before jumping to Data Analyzer, switch the dimension back to a standard BW hierarchy (or no hierarchy). The jump will then succeed.

This issue is currently under investigation by development and is searching for short-term fix in place.
