The Internal to External Candidate Profile Conversion Success email notification is not sent or received after a successful employee-to-candidate conversion.

Although the Internal to External Candidate Conversion job completes successfully, the expected success notification email is not delivered to the candidate.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

1. Terminate an internal employee to initiate the employee-to-candidate conversion process.
2. Run the Internal to External Candidate Conversion job.
3. Verify that the conversion completes successfully.
4. Observe that the expected conversion success email notification is not received.

The candidate's contact email address contains the word "dummy", which is blocklisted by the mail server discard rules.

The conversion success notification is sent to the external candidate's contact email address. Since the email address contains a blocklisted term, the mail server discards the email, preventing it from being delivered to the intended recipient.

For testing purposes, avoid using email addresses that contain words or patterns identified in the mail server discard rules, such as "dummy".

Instead, use:

• Realistic email addresses that do not contain blocked keywords.
• Valid email domains capable of receiving emails.

Using valid, routable email addresses helps ensure that the Internal to External Candidate Profile Conversion Success notification is successfully delivered during testing.
