The error "El XML no cumple el esquema. El nodo: ClaveRegimenEspecialOTrascendencia no es válido. Debe contener un valor de la enumeración [01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17]˜ is displayed for the Spain eDocuments.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to the eDocument Cockpit app.
2. In the Source Document field, enter ABC (where ABC represents the Source Document ID).
3. Mark the eDocument ABC.
4. Select Application Log.

The error "El XML no cumple el esquema. El nodo: ClaveRegimenEspecialOTrascendencia no es válido. Debe contener un valor de la enumeración [01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17]˜ is displayed.

The error occurs because the tag ClaveRegimenEspecialOTrascendencia is empty for the eDocument. The SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition might not be able to determine the tax regime because the tax codes maintained for the Source Document point to two different tax regimes. In some cases, Tax Agency allows more than one tax regime, but not the combination.

Validations at Regional Tax Agencies are different than the ones performed by Spanish Central Tax Agency (AT). AT checks the element on invoice level and rejects the single document if an error occurs. Some Regional Tax Agencies returns a global SOAP error instead, so the whole list is displayed in Communication error status. 

SAP has no influence on the Regional (Foral) Tax Agencies system behavior,  and SAP intention is to avoid deriving a wrong ClaveRegimenEspecialOTrascendencia, so in case of certain known invalid combination of Tax Regimes, ClaveRegimenEspecialOTrascendencia is left empty.

Therefore, it's recommended to review the Documents and Tax Codes configuration in the SSCUI 102558 - Assign SII Attributes to Tax Codes along with your Implementation Partner and Tax Authority in order to confirm the most suitable process in order to avoid the Rejection for the Spain SII Lists.
