3787763 - BW query timeout after moving adso partition to cold store via SDA

Symptom

  • After sending a specific ADSO partition to the cold store, the same BW query with the same filters that previously ran in seconds, now it times out.
  • TIME_OUT dump observed during query execution.
  • Messages mentioned: TIME_OUT in CL_SQL_STATEMENT, TIME_OUT in CL_SQL_RESULT_SET.
  • The cold storage is located in a different physical location connected via SDA.
  • ST12 shows the most execution time was consumed by the "CALL SYS.TREXviaDBSL ( ?, ?, ? ) WITH HINT ( IGNORE_PLAN_CACHE ) /* Query : xxxxxx */" statement.
