Symptom

The Reference Number field is visible and accessible in 2608 systems.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Manage Service Entry Sheets app.
  2. Select Create to start a new Service Entry Sheet.
  3. The Reference Number field is present in Quality but missing in Production.

Cause

The Reference Number field is part of functionality delivered with release 2608; earlier releases (for example, 2602) do not include this field.

Resolution

The reference field will be made available from the Production upgrade 2608.
