Symptom

In the Indonesia VAT Out (Coretax) XML, what is the correct format for the BuyerIDTKU field value?

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Maintain NPWP (ID1) and optionally NITKU (ID5) in the Business Partner.
  2. Generate the Indonesia VAT Out (Coretax) file/XML.
  3. Open the output and review the BuyerIDTKU field.
  4. Observe that the value differs from the expectation if assuming full NITKU or NPWP + 000000.

Resolution

 The composition rule is as follows:

  • When the NITKU has been maintained in the app Maintain Business Partner, the value will be NPWP + the first six digits of NITKU.
  • When the NITKU has not been maintained in the app Maintain Business Partner, it will default to NPWP + 000000.
