Onboarding “Correct My Personal Data” button is greyed out for onboardees during I‑9 Section 1.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Start the onboarding process as an onboardee.
2. Navigate to Personal Data Collection and proceed to I‑9 Section 1.
3. Attempt to select “Correct My Personal Data” and observe the button is disabled (greyed out).

The “Correct My Personal Data” button is disabled when the onboarding process is in Hired status, is an internal hire, or the process is invalid (for example, when candidates are hired automatically before data correction).

1. Verify the onboarding hire status in the onboarding in Manage Data
2. If the process is in Hired status, is an internal hire, or is invalid, note that the disabled button is expected behavior and personal data correction is not available in this state.
3. To enable data correction for future cases, ensure the onboarding process remains not hired and valid until the onboardee completes data correction (for example, avoid or delay automatic hire until after data correction and document signing steps are completed).
