3788057 - Event Reason token value is not translated in Email Services - Onboarding

Symptom

Event Reason token in email renders in the default language instead of the recipient's locale.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Generate the email via Email Services.
  2. Populate the Event Reason token in the email/template.
  3. Observe that the value is displayed in English (default) instead of selected locale.

Cause

This is an currently behavior of the document generation framework.

Resolution

Email Services resolves custom tokens using document generation, so translations for foundational objects are not applied.
