3788195 - CE2608 upgrade: Employee details missing or not displayed correctly within Sales Document Output Form - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Since the upgrade to CE2608, within the sales document output form, employee partner data is missing or not displayed correctly.

1. Logon with role SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP assigned.
2. Create a sales document with the partner data containing an employee such as a Sales Employee or Employee Responsible.
3. [Save] the sales document.
4. Access the sales document and display the output item.
5. Employee data is missing or displayed incorrectly.

The change in behavior has been attributed to the recent upgrade to CE2608.

A correction has been identified and is planned for delivery with the next production upgrade for the CE2608 release (Aug. 15/16). Please note that this represents the current plan and is subject to change. This KBA will be updated accordingly.

Before the permanent fix is available, below is a temporary workaround for the symptom "Sales Employee/Employee Responsible information missing on Sales Document Output":

1. Prerequisite/Which Customers will be impacted.
In the configuration activity 101288, enable the Relevant for Printing checkbox for the Sales Employee and Employee Responsible partner functions, and ensure the Adobe Forms are adapted accordingly. 

2. Workaround Steps

  2.1. Open the affected sales document and navigate to the Header Partner tab.

  2.2. Select the Sales Employee or Employee Responsible partner function and change its address to a correct value.

  2.3. Apply the entry and set the address to a document-specific address, fill all the required information in the address dialog, especially the “Full name” and email address. Make sure the required information for the employee has been filled in the address pop-up.

   2.4. Confirm that the address is now set as a document-specific address for the selected partner function.

  2.5. Navigate to the Output Management UI of the sales document.

  2.6. Check the status of the desired output item:

  - If the status is Completed, duplicate a new output item from it.

  - If the status is In Process, no further action is needed.

  2.7. Save the sales document and verify the output. 

3. Statement/Limitation

Currently, only document-specific addresses for employees are correctly displayed on sales document output forms. This workaround requires manual effort for each sales document that contains employee information.

Note that the address change dialog is empty for employee information, it needs to be filled manually with correct value.

The “First name” and “Last Name” cannot be shown on the output service, only “Full Name” can be retrieved via the document-specific address.

Note that view the output forms only after the document being saved in display mode.
