3788293 - global.ini [communication]/ssl changes from systemPKI to off during SAP HANA update

Symptom

During an SAP HANA update performed with the SAP HANA database lifecycle manager (hdblcm), the system-layer value of the following parameter changes from systemPKI to off:

global.ini
[communication]
ssl

In the affected update, the hdbupd_configure.log contains the following entries:

Found value 'communication/ssl' = 'systempki' in layer 'System'
Updating value 'ssl' in section 'communication' ('systempki' => 'off')

After the update, the system-layer value remains set to off.
