3788341 - Reason and Comment for manual time events not visible on workflow page

• Reason and Comments fields for manual time events are missing on the workflow page.
• Reason / Comment not visible to the approver while approving the request for time event created by the employee.

1. Create a new manual time event.
2. This time events goes for an approval from the manager (approver configured, refer KBA 3150757 - How to enable and configure workflows for manual time events).
   
   
   
   
3. Approver opens the workflow page for the manual time event and look for the Reason and Comments fields.
   
   
4. Observe that the fields are not displayed.
   
   

The Reason and Comment fields in the Manual Time Event object were configured with Visibility set to Not Visible/Invisible in Configure Object Definitions, so they do not appear on the workflow page

1. Go to Configure Object Definitions.
2. Open the Object Definition for Manual Time Event.
   
   
   
   
3. Locate the fields Reason and Comment.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Open Details for each field and change Visibility from Invisible/Not Visible to Editable or Read Only, as required.
   
   
   
   
5. Save the configuration.
   
   
6. Refresh the workflow page and verify that the fields are now visible.
