3788521 - Release 2608: Synchronize G/L Account Master Data Fails on Direct Data Transfer - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public edition

Running the Synchronize G/L Account Master Data app (app ID OB_GLACC71) with the option 'Use direct transfer to target system' in Test system fails with messages:

• Not possible to access production system, save was aborted
• CLASS=CX_AI_SOAP_FAULT(...): SoapFaulCodeName: Server | SoapFaulCodeNamespace: RABAX occurred
• Error during communication with the target client

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Make any change to a G/L account (e.g., create a new account or modify an existing one) in Q-system.
2. Open the Synchronize G/L Account Master Data app in the Q-System to transport the data to P-system.
3. Select the option "Use direct transfer to target system" and run the synchronization.
4. Result: Synchronization fails with: \CLASS=CX_AI_SOAP_FAULT(...): SoapFaulCodeName: Server | SoapFaulCodeNamespace: RABAX occurred

Issue is caused because Q-System is already upgraded but P-System not (Temporary mismatch)

For 2 system landscape: 

• The Production system upgrade to Release CE2608 is planned for August 15, 2026. Until then, the Direct Data Transfer option will continue to fail due to the version mismatch.  Customers must wait until Production system is upgraded.

For 3 system landscape: 

•  Use the standard transport path — create a single transport to move G/L account data directly to the P-System instead of using the Synchronize app.

Both Landscape:

• Once both systems are on the same release (CE2608), the version mismatch is resolved and the Synchronize G/L Account Master Data app with Direct Data Transfer will work normally again.
