In Financial Statements Review Booklet (F8587), Cash Flow Statement - Indirect Method business page does not display any data. However, while using the same FSV in Cash Flow Statement - Indirect Method (W0054), data is displayed correctly

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Financial Statements Review Booklet (F8587).
2. Open the business page Cash Flow Statement - Indirect Method.
3. Observe that no data is displayed under the Cash Flow Statement - Indirect Method business page
   
4. Go to Cash Flow Statement - Indirect Method (W0054) app
5. Choose the corresponding FSV
6. Observe that data can be displayed with the same parameters
   

Cash Flow Statement - Indirect Method (W0054) uses Semantic Tags in FSV, while the Cash Flow Statement - Indirect Method business page in Financial Statements Review Booklet (F8587) uses Reporting Rules

Open the Page Filters panel on the right and specify a Reporting Hierarchy. Turn the Auto-Refresh toggle off, then switch it back on to refresh the page. The reporting data will be displayed.

If there is no Reporting Rules available, create a new one by following steps:

1. Analyze the existing FSV and semantic tag assignments to identify which G/L accounts map to each cash flow category.
2. Create equivalent reporting rules in Manage Reporting Rules (F9259), replicating each line item with explicit G/L account ranges.
3. Build the new reporting hierarchy in Manage Global Hierarchies (F2918) using the IFRS 18 template.
4. Run both statements in parallel for one period to validate figures.
5. Switch to the Financial Statements Review Booklet (F8587) as the primary reporting surface.
