3788614 - Error in Inbound Delivery Notification: "Transport tracking ID is Empty"

Symptom

Error occurred while performing "Check Consistency" in Inbound Delivery Notification.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
  2. Go to Inbound Delivery Notification view.
  3. Search for the IDN: ABC. (ABC represents Inbound Delivery Notification ID)
  4. Choose Edit.
  5. Choose 'Check Consistency'.
  6. The error occurs: "Transport tracking ID is Empty".

Cause

  • The Tracking URL is maintained in the Freight Forwarder section, but the Tracking ID is not maintained.
  • When a Tracking URL is entered, the Tracking ID becomes a mandatory field.

Resolution

Maintain Tracking ID in the Freight Forwarder section of the Inbound Delivery Notification ABC.

Steps,

  1. Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
  2. Go to Inbound Delivery Notification view.
  3. Search for the IDN: ABC.
  4. Choose Edit.
  5. Enter the Tracking ID under General Tab.
  6. Choose 'Check Consistency'.
  7. The Inbound Delivery Notification ABC is Consistent.
  8. Choose Save.

(ABC represents Inbound Delivery Notification ID)
