3788768 - Managing "Add Payment Information" and "Delete" Actions in Personal Data Collection - Onboarding

• "Add Payment Information" and "Delete" actions are visible in the Payment Information section during Personal Data Collection.
• Onboardees are able to create multiple Payment Information records during Personal Data Collection.
• Duplicate Payment Information entries can be added by onboardees in the onboarding process.
• Payment Information object allows additional records to be created instead of restricting users to a single entry.
• Unable to hide the "Add Payment Information" and "Delete" options from the Payment Information object.
• Personal Data Collection permits multiple Payment Information submissions for the same onboardee. How can we prevent it ?
• Payment Information section does not enforce a single-record restriction during onboarding.

• Typically, Payment Information object should only contain "View" and "Create" permission while Payment Information Details should contain "View" and "Correct" permissions without "Create" option. 
• This can be controlled by permissions. Please find the attached screenshot of the permission configuration:

 

• Then you have to initialize the payment information object using the following initialize rule: 

• Add this rule to the Payment Information Detail Object in Configure Object Definition

 

• Based on the above configuration, the Delete and "Add Payment Information" will be removed from the PDC Page:
