SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
- When one profile is purged for a user who has multiple assignments, the remaining employee profile's display name changes to "Purged user"
- The name is correctly displayed in people search. The issue is observed in employee profile page.

Cause
This is a Known Issue.
Resolution
- The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.

Workaround
Force a recalculation of the primary assignment by editing the employment details of the existing profile and saving the changes. After saving, refresh the page. The correct display name will then be displayed.
