Symptom

  • A former standby host no longer exists and is unreachable but still appears in the system topology as a standby host.
  • Attempting removal as per note 2628812 - How to Remove a Permanently Unavailable Standby Host From an SAP HANA System and got below error: 
    "Connect to host '' failed: rc=No route to host"
