3788911 - Workforce Person replication fails with ‘Bank details in the validity period are not unique’

Symptom

  • When replicating a Workforce Person to SAP S/4HANA Cloud , the replication fails with the following error: 'Bank details in the validity period are not unique.'
  • The error occurs when the payment details being sent contain the same bank details/IBAN that are already maintained for the Business Partner.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Cause

The same bank details already exist with a different validity period, resulting in non-unique bank details within an overlapping validity interval.

Resolution

Check the payment/bank details maintained for the affected Business Partner and compare the Valid From and Valid To dates.Ensure that the validity periods do not overlap.

For example, if the existing payment detail is valid from 13.06.2023 and a new payment detail with the same IBAN should become valid from 15.07.2026, maintain the records as follows:

  • Payment Detail 1: Valid From 13.06.2020 to 14.07.2025
  • Payment Detail 2: Valid From 15.07.2025 onwards

After correcting the validity periods, resend the Workforce Person replication request.
