3789332 - Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) process and AMPL Maintenance not available via MP01/MP02

• Planning to implement the manufacturer part number (MPN) process to manage multiple manufacturer part numbers and vendors for a single material.
• Traditional transactions MP01 and MP02 for maintaining the approved manufacturer parts list (AMPL) are not available in the public cloud environment.
• Request for the recommended standard approach, including configuration, execution, relevant fiori apps, and end-to-end process details.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to use transactions MP01 or MP02 to maintain the approved manufacturer parts list (AMPL) in the public cloud.
2. Observe that these transactions/apps are not available in the fiori launchpad.

The maintenance of manufacturer parts is not activated in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition; therefore, the app corresponding to MP01 (and MP02) is currently not available in fiori.
