3789338 - Account cannot be added or removed from table when using the Quick Builder panel on a story in SAP analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Account cannot be added or removed from the Quick Builder panel of a table.
• In edit mode of the story, it is possible to add and remove account from a table using the Builder panel, but not when viewing the story and using the Quick Builder panel in SAP Analytics Cloud.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.8.6

1. In SAP Analytics Cloud, open, or create a story with a table that uses a model containing an Account/Measure dimension
2. Enable the table to use the Quick Builder.
3. View the story, and on the table, open the Quick Builder.
4. If Account is part of the table design (set in edit mode), it is not possible to remove the Account from the Quick Builder panel.
   But if Account was not added in the table design (in edit mode), observe that Account in Quick Builder is disabled and cannot be added.

Quick Builder is a simplified, view-time builder that currently does not support adding or removing the Account/Measure dimension from the Rows or Columns axes of a table.

To add or remove Account from the table use the Builder panel in the edit mode of the story:

1. Open the story in Edit mode.
2. Select the table.
3. In the Builder panel on the right side, add, or remove the Account from the table.
4. Save the story.
