3789341 - Removal of Run Outbound Process Apps After 2608

Symptom

The following apps are no longer available after the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2608 upgrade:

  • Run Outbound Process – Deliveries (F1704)
  • Run Outbound Process – Production (F5164)

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

  • As of release 2508, F1704 and F5164 were deprecated and replaced by Manage Outbound Delivery Orders (F6498).
  • With release 2608, F1704 and F5164 have been removed and are no longer available.

Resolution

  • Use Manage Outbound Delivery Orders (F6498) for the relevant outbound delivery processes.
  • To access the new app, assign the following IAM app to the relevant business user: Manage Outbound Delivery Orders (F6498_TRAN)
