3789507 - The "adjust scheduling" setting for production order does not work in Manage Production Orders and Monitor Material Coverage app

In configuration activity 102448 - Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders, you have maintain the "adjust scheduling" setting. However, with e.g. a "Backward Scheduling" production order and "Adjust basic dates, adjust dep. reqmts to operation date" setting, when changing the Basic End Date, the Basic Start Date is not recalculated as expected.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Convert a planned order into a production order with Backward Scheduling and configuration "adjust scheduling" set to "Adjust basic dates, adjust dep. reqmts to operation date".
2. Open Manage Production Orders or Monitor Material Coverage app, select the order.
3. Change the Basic End Date, observe that the Basic Start Date remains unchanged.

This is a known coding issue. The setting in configuration activity 102448 - Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders is not considered in Manage Production Orders and Monitor Material Coverage app.

The correction will be delivered with CFD 2608.2 delivery. The CFD 2608.2 is scheduled from October 17th to 18th. SAP may change the plan without any notice.

Before the correction is implemented, use the Change Production Order(CO02) app when it's needed to use "Adjust Dates" customizing.
