3789622 - POST to Composition Navigation Property Fails with Property Resolution Error in CAP OData V2

Symptom

A POST request to a composition navigation property in a SAP CAP application fails with HTTP 500.
The CAP runtime log shows:
"<property>_ID" not found in the elements of "<ServiceName>.<EntityName>"

Example request that fails:
POST /v2/srv/<service>/ParentEntity(guid'...')/CompositionNavProperty
Content-Type: application/json
{ "childAssociation_ID": "<guid>" }
