3789774 - Foreign Currency Valuation does not use account maintained in Automatic Account Determination - SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

Symptom

  • During execution of the Foreign Currency Valuation with Valuation Area FR (France) or BE (Belgium), the system does not use the account maintained in configuration activity 100297 – Automatic Account Determination.

  • For one or more Account Determination Keys, the valuation postings are generated on an unexpected G/L account, different from the one defined in the configuration.

  • Error message: "Account determination for account XXXXXXX: Account YYYYYYYY missing in company code **".
