3790044 - Names With Special Characters Do Not Display In Banner When Proxying

Symptom

When a user has a special character, such as an apostrophe in their first or last name, the banner that shows who is being proxied as will not display the name.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning 1H 2026

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Learning Administration > People > Users
  2. Search for and access a user that has an apostrophe in their name such as "S'F A'dmin"
  3. Actions > Proxy
  4. Check proxy banner and the name will not show. Proxy as another user that does not have a special character in their name and the banner will show the name.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.
