3790113 - "Needs Attention" Section Missing for Some Users on Latest Home Page Despite Multiple To-Dos

Symptom

  • On the latest home page, the “Needs Attention” section appears for some users but not for others. 
  • Users with multiple to-dos may not see “needs attention” cards in the latest home page.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Log in to the latest home page as a user who has older to-dos and verify that “Needs Attention” cards do not appear. 

2. Log in as another user who has more recent to-dos and verify that “Needs Attention” cards appear. 

Cause

This is expected behavior for the latest home page.

Resolution

• “Needs Attention” card creation only considers to-dos within a limited look-back window; older to-dos are not synced to cards. 

• The effective look-back period confirmed in this scenario is 2 years.
