Symptom
Users receive a 403 error when attempting to download Learning History from My Learning.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Sign in to the SuccessFactors system.
- Go to My Learning.
- Navigate to Learning History from the Activities menu.
- Click Download button.
- Observe the error: "The page you requested generated a server error: response code 403 ()".
Cause
The Learning History (User) report may have been published to the wrong audience (Other Target Users) instead of Users.
Resolution
Ensure that the configuration requirements and Role-Based Permission prerequisites are met.
- Ensure you've published the 'Learning History (User)' report from Learning Administration > Reports.
- Ensure the 'Learning History (User)' report is set with target users as "Users".
- Confirm the user's role includes necessary permissions (Access Reports, Access Learning History, and Run User Learning History Report).
