3790134 - Search Highlight missing in WebGUI after kernel update

Symptom

  • After applying kernel patch version, the text search function fails to highlight the matched text in blue.
  • One example is that the issue started after kernel 7.93 patch 354 and does not occur when the kernel is downgraded to patch 321.
  • The issue is not present in SAP GUI for Windows.
  • The issue happens to ALV Grid, and various transactions, e.g., VA05.
