Error message "M7 777 Difference amount is too high" (Message no. BL001) occurs when posting in the App: Compare Stock with Inventory Management.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. In APP: Compare Stock with Inventory Management, enter the relevant product and warehouse number then click Execute.
2. Select the affected product line and click "Correct Stock" button to post the difference.
3. The system raises error BL001: M7 777 Difference amount is too high.

The inventory difference amount = difference quantity * material price

The calculated inventory difference amount exceeds the tolerance limits defined in configuration activity 106788 - Manage Tolerances for Physical Inventory Differences (per item and/or per document total).

1. Open configuration activity 106788: Manage Tolerances for Physical Inventory Differences.
2. Adjust the "Upper limits for inventory diff. postings" for both: "Difference amount per phys. inv. doc" and "Difference amount per phys. inv. item", so that the calculated difference amount is within the allowed limits.
3. Save the configuration changes.
4. Retry the posting in APP: Compare Stock with Inventory Management.
