3790251 - Create Dunning Notices- Log and Print log not available for older dunning runs

• In the Create Dunning Notices app, the Log and Print Log options are no longer available for previously executed dunning runs after a certain period.
• When attempting to access the log for an older dunning run, the system displays the following error message:
  No job log found for dunning run <Run Date> <Identification>
  Message No. FM871
• The dunning run remains in Completed status; however, the execution log cannot be displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Create Dunning Notices app.
2. Select a previously executed dunning run by entering the Run Date and Identification.
3. Ensure that the dunning run is in Completed status.
4. Choose Log or Print Log.
5. Observe that the system displays the following error message:
   No job log found for dunning run <Run Date> <Identification>
   Message No. FM871

• The Log and Print Log shown in Create Dunning Notices are job logs created by the background job that runs the dunning process.
• According to standard retention, background jobs and their job logs are removed after a certain period. After removal, the app cannot display Log or Print Log, independent of the dunning run status.

1. This is standard system behavior; logs are tied to background job lifecycle, not the dunning run status.
2. For recent runs, review Log and Print Log shortly after the run completes, before job logs are purged by retention.
3. To review historical outcomes of previous dunning runs after logs are removed, use the Display Dunning History app (App ID: FPM3) to see dunned items, dunning levels, and related details.
